First night in the van
Slept like a log, I was so tired! It was very quiet in the park last night, hope that is a sign of things to come.
Probably won't be starting caretaking for about a month, thats good because I still have a lot of things to do, and still a lot more stuff to move into the storage.
Fridge issues last night but they seem to be resolved, hopefully I can get the tv sorted today. There is a powerpoint that doesn't work, will get the electrician to see to that. Aircon works really well!
It is really nice here, I went for a walk on the beach after dinner last night, will post a pic when I download them.

I've had a ball making these over the last week or so, I have taken them to a local nursery/tearoom/gallery. She was impressed and thought they would sell well.

I blamed the light last night but these are no better ... I think its time for new batteries. This is a fold up album where I used 1 sheet of cardstock and the leftovers from the Owl one I did yesterday.

Toilet Roll Album
A little album made out of ... yes, toilet roll centres. I got the instructions from youtube, a crafter called Absolutely Artsy. Sorry I think she might be Fabulously Artsy, I will check that. I have used the Kaiser Offshore collection, and put little tags in all the pockets. I left an area on the cover for a small pic when I decide what I am going to use it for. Very easy to make, give it a go.

Another new one ................
This is my daughter and myself 2 years ago. I have done it for Kyms colour challenge this month at Artistic Document. The challenge was red and brown, black or while cs base and ribbon and staples. Most of the paper and elements came from the Sweet Valentine kit from Sweet Blossoms, paisley overlay is a freebie I found ages ago.
My latest LO
Finished this one yesterday for Maria's July Challenge (Artistic Document), and can't upload it to the site atm, so I thought I would put it on here. Maria's challenge was to scrap a self-portrait, using our favourite papers and embellies. I took the photo looking into my mirror which is why its a bit hazy. Made with the Butterfly Kisses kit from Sara at Sweet Blossoms.

Playing with coffee filters ...
I've been having fun making paper roses, they are easier to make than to paint! I guess practice makes perfect, so I am going to persevere. I can only get the unbleached ones here, I am keen to try the white ones.

Made some more flowers ......
The bigger one is 3D and has a very deep back ... don't really know what you could use it for. The other one is very simple, just a circle with 8 slits cut towards the centre, stopping short of the centre. Then fold each segment down the middle, put several layers together, use a small flower and a brad as the centre. Would be lovely in co-ordinating colours or could be decorated with ink, paint, bling etc.

Flowers with a corner rounder
Tried Toni's corner rounder flowers yesterday and this is the result. Started with 50mm, 55mm and 66mm circles and used the EK Success corner rounder which does seem to be the best.
You can find the instructions here http://hdscrapbooking.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,2335.0.html.
