My Beautiful Mother

Just finished this one of my mum ... this was taken about 50 years ago. She used to grow gladiolis to perfection and she is holding one.
Most of this was done with Spring is in the Air from Sweet Blossoms.

A new green lawn

My resize program says this file is too large to resize so I will see if I can upload it as it is on here.
Paper is my creation, I texturized a white sheet of paper and used brushes at the top and a style on the bottom, then used an overlay from Ursula Schneider at Scrap Girls. Fonts are Windows fonts, I added a green glass style to New and a green glitter style to green. The wire frame is a freebie from the Bee Happy kit at Sweet Blossoms. I think thats it.

I used pp and journal frame from Bee Happy freebie from Sweet Blossoms, title treatment is from a tutorial from Photoshop 911.

A paper LO .....

Thought it was time I uploaded a paper layout ... I've been having much too much fun with the digi stuff and learning heaps. For anyone who is interested, I can thoroughly recommend Andrea Golds classes at Go Digital Scrapbooking.

Anyway, back to the subject ... this one is my mum and dad not long before we lost him to cancer. I did it for Maria's challenge on Hybrid Designs Scrapbooking.

I have used Bazzil CS, Heidi Grace pp cut into strips, flourish cut from white Bazzil with a Quikutz die, Kaiser bling and flowers, photocorner and bookplate from a sizzix die and the 'together' is a cheapo sticker. Journal block is from a swap, made by Maree G, Hybrid member.

In the Jungle ....

Well, not quite a jungle yet, but hopefully in the future ... . I've been trying a few new techniques lately, this one was matting the title letters. Unfortunately, the paper I chose simple looks like an outline, but at least it worked. This page is from a kit from Sweet Blossoms store Scrap that Idea. Sara from Sweet Blossoms is sponsoring this months challenge at the new Digi-Chicks Challenge Blog so make sure you pop in and have a look.
