The start of the wet season each year.
Putting my pet bird to bed so I can have some 'me' time!
That first coffee in the morning.
I'm an 'evening shower person, I really look forward to that shower.
Toni's visits home every 2 years.
Seeing my other kids regularly.
Going to a nice restaurant for dinner.
Payday!

Question 2 : 8 things i did yesterday ........

Weeded the garden.
Watered the garden.
Washed the car.
Did some blog hopping.
Dyed my eyebrows.
Fed the dog and the bird.
Watched Merlin on tv.
Made 3 cards.


Question 3: 8 things i wish i could do ........

Swim better than I can.
Live on an island (with plenty of scrapping supplies, of course)
Fly a plane.
Win lots of money.
Go to Hawaii.
Do something great for my kids.
Slow down the aging process.
Be really, really good at something.

Playing with coffee filters ...

I've been having fun making paper roses, they are easier to make than to paint! I guess practice makes perfect, so I am going to persevere. I can only get the unbleached ones here, I am keen to try the white ones.

Made some more flowers ......

The bigger one is 3D and has a very deep back ... don't really know what you could use it for. The other one is very simple, just a circle with 8 slits cut towards the centre, stopping short of the centre. Then fold each segment down the middle, put several layers together, use a small flower and a brad as the centre. Would be lovely in co-ordinating colours or could be decorated with ink, paint, bling etc.

Flowers with a corner rounder

Tried Toni's corner rounder flowers yesterday and this is the result. Started with 50mm, 55mm and 66mm circles and used the EK Success corner rounder which does seem to be the best.

Just got my lappie back ... I've been without it for 6 days, yep 6 whole days!!! The pc guy has upgraded my ram and cleaned up some of the hard drive for me, now I'm going to do the rest and it will be like new!
